NOTICE:  These new retaining heads are now standard on all TOUGH GUN Air-Cooled Semi-Automatic, Automatic, and Robotic MIG Guns (excluding flex neck models) as of November 1, 2009.

We've added a second taper at the rear of our TOUGH LOCK Retaining Heads where they connect with the gooseneck.  This new Dual Taper Technology:

  • Locks your gun from contact tip to the gooseneck
  • Makes your consumables run cooler
  • Improves electrical conductivity
  • Decreases your downtime
