No. It is not possible to use the same mounting arm, however, we have come up with a series of replacement arms designed for a new setup that should match your existing system. Please refer to the 2D drawings on the technical conversion information webpage for more information. If you are unable to find a suitable replacement, please contact your local Tregaskiss representative.
Although this product is rated at 600 amps, it is capable of withstanding high duty cycles. Tregaskiss R&D testing has proven this product can replace our existing water-cooled products without issue since it has a higher water flow rate than the 650 amp product, and ultimately achieves a high level of performance in the most demanding welding applications.
The 600 amp robotic water-cooled MIG gun does not have a water-cooled nozzle, but with a high flow rate (0.5 gpm) and four cooling chambers in the neck, this 600 amp product is highly efficient at drawing heat away from the consumables. This allows the MIG gun to run long welding cycles at a high amperage.
Yes! Since the nozzle and gas diffuser are different from other Tregaskiss robotic water-cooled products, only two components are required to modify the TOUGH GUN reamer:
1) Change the v-block to part number TR-2162; and
2) Change the cutter blade to part number RCT-13.
